RZC practice groups currently exist in North America and Europe. Our community is anchored by two main centers in the United States: Daiyuzenji, an urban temple in Chicago, and Korinji, a rural monastery on 17 forested acres near Madison, Wisconsin.
Beginners are welcome at our centers and groups and are given basic meditation instruction. Those interested in committing to formal practice under the guidance of a Roshi, or Zen master, have the opportunity to do so. Intensive meditation retreats (sesshin) and other events are scheduled throughout the year.
